Tractor-Trailer Training Programs (Class A)

AZ MELT Tractor Trailer Program (Class AZ License)

Why Us?

Because quality matters!

Obtaining your AZ license is both costly and takes a great amount of time. Because of that, you have to make sure that the school you entrust to take this journey with, is capable of preparing you for your road test and employment in the least amount of time.

At Canada Trust Driving School Inc. our innovative methods of teaching, along with our well-known commitment to quality, has resulted in industry-leading passing and employment rate. Our students consistently rely on us to prepare them to obtain their AZ license with fewest tries and be employed within a short time after.

WHAT IS THIS LICENSE GOOD FOR?

“AZ” license holders are qualified to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lbs.). This also includes straight trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks and vans should they wish. Job placement assistance is provided with this course. Adding an optional “C” endorsement to this license permits the holder to drive coaches (buses) and large (up to 24) passenger vans.

WHAT IS MELT?

Effective July 1, 2017, the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has implemented mandatory entry-level training for commercial Class A truck drivers.

All new drivers attempting the Class A road test on or after July 1, 2017 will have to successfully complete the mandatory entry-level training course before attempting their Class A Road Test.
