G1, G2, G License Training
We provides students with the knowledge of defensive driving skills which will enable them to prevent collisions and traffic violations before they occur. We take our job seriously and always have safety as our top priority. Our instructors have a passion for teaching and will provide you with a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience.
G1 Class Licence (Knowledge Test)
New drivers of passenger vehicles learn to drive with six important conditions with a G1 licence. A new driver must hold a G1 licence for a minimum of 12 months before attempting the G1 road test. This time can be reduced to eight months if you successfully complete a MTO – Aprroved BDE Course.
- Drivers earn more privileges after passing their G1 road test.
- Maintain a zero blood alcohol level while driving.
- Ensure the accompanying driver is the only other person in the front seat.
- Ensure the number of passengers in the vehicle is limited to the number of working seat belts.
- Refrain from driving between midnight and 5:00 a.m.
G2 Class Licence (Driving Test – Basic Skills)
New drivers must hold a G2 licence for a minimum of 12 months before they can attempt the G2 road test. At this level, you have more privileges because of your driving experience. You may drive without an accompanying driver on all Ontario roads anytime. However, you are still required to:
- Maintain a zero blood alcohol level while driving.
- Ensure the number of passengers in the vehicle is limited to the number of working seat belts.
G Class Licence (Driving Test – Highway Driving Experience)
Allowed to drive any car, van or small truck or combination of vehicle and towed vehicle up to 11,000 kilograms provided the vehicle towed is not over 4,600 kilograms. A pickup truck towing a house trailer exceeds 4,600 kilograms, but the total combined weight of the truck and trailer does not exceed 11,000 kilograms is deemed a Class G vehicle. A Class G vehicle has a maximum capacity of 11 passengers.
